Analysis: Peacock got through the first inning of his postseason debut without issue, but was shaky in the second and became unglued in the third as the Astros blew an early 3-0 lead. The 13-game winner found out the playoffs are a whole different element than the regular season, where he went 8-0 with a 2.88 ERA in 17 appearances (12 starts) on the road.

Analysis: Peacock was solid as he tried to convince manager A.J. Hinch that he deserves a spot in the postseason rotation. ''I'm sure they'll tell me something in the next couple of days,'' said Peacock, who is fighting to join the staff that will include Justin Verlander and Dallas Keuchel and potentially Collin McHugh, Charlie Morton and Lance McCullers. ''They've got six good starters to choose from.''

Analysis: Peacock's numbers Thursday were the same as he put up in Anaheim on Aug. 26, but the relievers let that win get away. The right-hander got his first win since Aug. 4 on Thursday, but he's been pitching well for a while. Peacock has posted a 1.91 ERA in his last five starts with nine walks and 32 strikeouts in 28 1/3 innings.

Analysis: Peacock was staked to a 9-0 lead but wasn't able to pick up his 11th win when A.J. Hinch pulled him with one on and two out in the fifth. Though he still hasn't lost since June 9, the right-hander's fantasy stock appears to be slipping of late. He's been tagged for 12 runs and 23 hits in 17 innings over his past three starts.

Analysis: Though he was denied a third straight winning start when Ken Giles gave up a game-tying home run in the ninth, Peacock did bounce back nicely after being tagged for seven runs in six innings last Friday against Toronto. He's still unbeaten in his last 10 starts, compiling a 7-0 record with a 3.02 ERA during the run.
