Hend shoots 66 for share of Fiji lead

NATADOLA BAY, Fiji (AP) Scott Hend shot a 6-under 66 Friday to move into a four-way share of the lead after the second round of the Fiji International.

BAD GRIESBACH, Germany (AP) Anthony Wall holed a long birdie putt on No. 18 to begin the defense of his Paul Lawrie Match Play title with a 1-up victory over Sam Walker in the first round on Thursday.

Wisconsin-based Sentry Insurance has agreed to a five-year deal to become the title sponsor of the winners-only PGA Tour event at Kapalua. The move strengthens the tour's commitment to starting the new year in Hawaii.

Toxicology: Woods had 5 drugs in system

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) Tiger Woods had the active ingredient for marijuana, two painkillers and two sleep drugs in his system when he was arrested on a DUI charge earlier this year, a report released Tuesday by police said.

Police in Jupiter, Florida, released the report less than a week after the golf superstar agreed to enter a diversion program to settle his driving while intoxicated charges. The report's contents were first reported Monday by ESPN. Read More...
